Room cleanliness. Unusually they insisted on payment on arrival - never happened to me. PC was broken all weekend - unhelpful. Site was down as 3 star.....when official hotel plaque says 2 star. Breakfast room photo misleading. |

The room was spotless We were asked to settle our bill up front on arrival. I have never been requested to do so before. The first night they put us into a tiny & very noisy double room because the room they had original booked us into was a double single bed room which was not what we booked. |

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful; perfect spot close to Quartier Latin, Jardin de Luxembourg, Seine/Notre Dame, etc. and close to metro station Luxembourg which has a direct connection with Gare du Nord and CdG airport; A small remark only: room cleaning staff entered the room both mornings of our stay immediately after knocking ... |

The hotel is very nice. The location was really interesting, very near to the Luxembourg Gardens and to the rue Moufetard. At night we only had to walk a few blocks to have dinner. Everything in the hotel was new because of a recent reform and that made our stay there much better. We intend to return. There were only two problems. First the internet at the hotel was out of order. Second, they didn't have enough energy adapters to all rooms. So, we had to buy one to recharge the battery of our camera. |

Accessibility by public transport and location were excellent. It had rather 3- than 2-star standard. TV hook-up only makes sense, if the channels are tuned properly and if there are other than only French channels. |
