Friendly and comfortable property located in a pedestrian street of the historic and touristic Latin Quarter and Notre-Dame area.

Close to the Seine River, Saint-Louis Island, Sorbonne University, Luxembourg Garden and the typical Saint-Germain-des-Près, you will really feel you are amidst everything Parisian.

Easy to reach from the airports and near most historical monuments, this hotel has the ingredients for a pleasant stay. Staff at the reception will help you with tours and restaurant reservations. Public parking is at your disposal.

Hotel Europe Saint Severin is situated in the Quartier Latin, along a pedestrian road, on the corner of the streets Rue Saint Severin and the Rue de la Harpe.

The hotel is decorated in the renowned Hausmann-style from the beginning of the 20th century, with lots of natural stone. Rooms are being refurnished to create a new modern style.

The Hotel has it own restaurant, Rim Café, with a comfortable terrace where you can enjoy your dinner in summer and spring time.

Food & beverage

The restaurant, Rim Café, is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. In a warm atmosphere it serves traditional Italian food, from pizza to pasta and delicious desserts.

Hot drinks, orange juice, pastries, bread, yoghurt and fruit are available for breakfast. The cold buffet is served every morning from 07:00 until 10:30 in Rim Café.

Room information

Rooms are quiet, bright, and equipped with air conditioning, a minibar, a safe box, a colour satellite TV, a direct phone, a Wi-Fi connection, shower, private toilet and hairdryer.

Area information

The hotel is situated in the heart of Paris near Saint Michel metro station. The River Seine is just a street away, while Sorbonne and the Panthéon are 5 minutes' walk away, as are the Luxembourg Gardens.

If you are interested in visiting Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre Museum you can walk there in about 15 minutes.

The location was fabulous. If you are looking for something that feels like it is in the heart of everything then this is a great place to be. Right outside your door are traditional restaurants, full of character, you are right near a Metro which can connect you with everything, you are right opposite Notre Dame and everything is within walking distance if necessary.

The rooms were great but we were a bit disillusioned when we saw the corridors. No doubt they will be reburbished soon.

It was very central location. Even though we were at the front it was very quiet when window was closed. Lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Very close to Notre Dame. Friendly staff also.

The room was a good size with a large balcony - location great as you are in the centre of restaurants etc but the thick stone walls of the hotel keeps the noise out. The location is very convenient for seeing all the sights. Lift size seemed fine to us! Staff were always friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent - just two minutes from St Michel.

There were problems with our room when we arrived beacuse of people staying longer than scheduled as they could not travel on Eurostar. It took 3 attempts to find a room that was unoccupied which was not a great start as we arrived very late at night. To be fair the hotel rectified this promptly the next morning and were very apologetic. I would still recommend this hotel.

Perfectly situated for visits to both sides of Paris, cleanliness, magnificent balcony doors that did not let in any sound from the street, good breakfast for being a two star hotel

The postion is fabulous good, close to Notre Dame ,Saine river, there are metro station and a bike rantal just in front of the hotel, a lot of restaunts , shops and supermaket nearby, from morning to midnight , never worry about where to eat .... Very small but clean room, lively lovely and safty place to stay.

The door key was very old fasion ,not easy to use.
