The Invalides are a complex of buildings in the 7th arrondissement containing museums and monuments, all relating to the military history of France, as well as a hospital and a retirement home for war veterans, the building's original purpose. It is also the burial site for some of France's war heroes (Napoléon).

The Eiffel Tower is an iron tower built on the Champ de Mars beside the River Seine in Paris. The tower has become a global icon of France and is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The structure was built between 1887 and 1889 as the entrance arch for the Exposition Universelle. The structure is 324 m (1,063 ft) high (since 2000), which is equivalent to about 81 levels in a conventional building.

The Musée d'Orsay, situated on the left bank of the Seine, is housed in the former railway station, the Gare d'Orsay. It holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography, and is probably best known for its extensive collection of Impressionist masterpieces by popular painters such as Monet and Renoir.

Very helpful staff and a view of the Eiffel Tower from outside our window even in a standard room. The room was nicely furnished.

The walls were rather thin, letting nocturnal sounds travel.

Good location that makes you feel more like a local than a tourist, but with metro station around the corner, everything is just a train ride away. Steps away from charming Rue Cler with its cobblestones, butcher, cheese, wine, flower and book shops, grocery stores, brasseries, etc. Plus, my bathroom had a tub--need I say more?

We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our window, as requested. Location was great - walking distance to resturants, Eiffel Tower and other sites of interest. Room was not large but was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice, clean and modern room with good outlook and location. Suited our needs perfectly. Close to cafes, restaurants, shops, banks, post office and tourist sites. Good sized lift

step into hotel difficult as one guest uses a wheelchair, but staff also quick to assist

Bit pricey for the size and standard of room. A rainy start to the day influenced our choice to breakfast at the hotel - and 12 euros seemed a lot for a standard continental breakfast.

The Yellow van Shuttle service booked by the hotel drove us all over the left bank, the driving was erratic. Also the driver asked for more than we had agreed with the hotel.

Excellent location. Metro stop just round the corner, and near to shops, cafes and The Eiffel Tower. Friendly staff.

The room's balcony. The pictures supplied were a bit misleading as you could only get one person it. Pictures were obviously taken of larger balconys from more expensive rooms.

The staff was very friendly & humorous - they also spoke english very well. Supermarket is just around the corner & atm right across the street, also very close to the Eiffel Tower!! Every room has a gorgeous view of it but you should ask for a room on one of the top floors (5th or 6th floor), it's gives you a little balcony. At night, the hotel can be seen from the top of the Eiffel Tower too!

Rooms are a little small & bathtub was very tall, we felt like we were going to slip & fall every time we got out. The hair dryer is some type of vacuum hose contraption that doesn't work very well...bring your own! And you always have to drop your room key off when you leave (I believe for housekeeping purposes). That didn't make me feel comfortable leaving any valuables in the room.

Very close to main sites, in particular two of them - Tour Eiffel (10 to 15 minutes walking distance) and Les Invalides (5 to 10 minutes walking dist.). The bus station which takes you around Paris is only 5 min far on foot. Plenty of restaurants in front of the hotel, although best of them expensive. La Seine with Pont d'Alma is also near. Music in the elevator of the hotel.

There is not conditionned air, only fans. The balcony is actually an improvised one, at the level under the roof - normal rooms seemed better than the superior ones with "balcony", where it was very hot. Rooms are quite narrow.
