Cannaregio:
Crumbling, piquant Cannaregio is the most trendy area of the city, where you can begin to feel what everyday life is like, more than anywhere in Venice. Cannaregio was Tintoretto’s home and he is buried in the beautiful Venetian Gothic Madonna dell’Orto, which also contains several of his masterpieces.

Madonna Dell’Orto:
A church that most of Venice's tourists never see. Tintoretto’s Church has a noble brick façade and a graceful interior but it is his paintings that draw most visitors out to this northern reach of the city.

Ca’ d’Oro:
The Ca' d'Oro is perhaps the most famous Venetian palazzo of all, after the Doges' Palace. The name is due to the gilt and polychrome external decorations which once adorned its walls. Built between 1428 and 1430 for the Contarini Family, who provided Venice with 8 Doges, the residence is now open to the public as a gallery.

És un hotel excel·lent per la seva ubicació, amb parada de vaporeto i de gòndoles a la mateixa porta. El servei i l’atenció del personal, així com la comoditat de les habitacions són igualment excel·lents. Disposa d’una magnífica carta i selecció de vins que pots gaudir en el mateix Gran Canal. El servei del restaurant és també formidable.

L'esmorzar és un tant reduït per un hotel d'aquesta categoria.

Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spacious.

In a 5 star hotel I expect to have complimentary water in the room, the only water in the room was in the mini bar. In a 5 star hotel I would expect to have a table in the room so that if you ordred room service you can eat comfortably. Couldn't use the balcony as it was very noisy, there was a large vent outside outside the room. There was no bar!

Bed mattress was uncomfortable, had back ache for two days.

The hotel was beautiful, like staying in a museaum. Breakfast was great and fabulous staff. Overall a wonderful experience.

There was a limited gym and no hot tub or pool which would have been nice.

The staff were helpful, very pleasant hotel

12 Euros to get trousers pressed and 7 Euros for a soft-boiled egg? In my opinion this is as close to robbery as I would care to get...spoiled the experience!

This Hotel is perfect - do not stay anywhere else if you want excellence from the location, staff and food as well as an outstanding building. The tour offered on arrival was really interesting and it is a stunning hotel.

A stylish hotel, not for those looking for "business" (Hilton/Sheraton) type of places.

A bit friendlier staff wouldn't do any harm. They seem to take their job very seriously in a wrong sense of the word.

Comfort, character of the palace, peacefull environment and good location

room-service, the cuisine was closed during the day so it's not possible to get anything beside the drink (not even dessert)
