Set in the historical heart of Florence, this excellently located hotel is within walking distance of the main sights and has a rooftop terrace with stunning views over the city.

The Uffizi Gallery, Bargello Museum and Ponte Vecchio are all just a few streets away in one direction and the magnificent cathedral is a similar distance in the other direction.

The hotel's impressive entrance hall and public areas will remind you of the Florence of days gone by, whereas the well-decorated rooms offer modern comfort and style with hand-made furniture.

With a restaurant and bar on-site, you will not need to leave the hotel in the evenings and can simply sit back and relax.

The Location was really perfect, the rooms are beautiful and very spacious, and the bar next door "Angels" was so great to relax in and the staff were very hospitable and warm.

The hotel was in a great location in the city. A little hard to find at first, but accessible to everything once you find it. Hotel was very nice, breakfast was great. You can eat breakfast on the rooftop terrace...a big plus. Great bar attached to the hotel.

There was a funny sulfer smell in the room when we arrived. It disappeared once we openned the windows.

very central location

lack of parking, highly priced, impossible to have any view unless staying at the highest floor, lack of privacy in the room unless with balcony door closed, dark public areas, lobby could do with a make-over

The reception staff were either useless and disinterested, one young girl or very good in the case of Angela.

It was central to all tourist sites and an overwhelming number of restaurants .The room was a good size with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom was very stylish and thoroughly cleansed every day. The buffet breakfast gave a wide choice of tasty food and drinks served informally in a light airy room.It was particularly pleasant to take coffee on the roof terrace after breakfast.

The only minor wrinkle was the lack of draw space in the room.

The Hotel couldn't be more central. We stayed in the superior double rooms and they were fairly modern in style, and our room had view of the belltower and Dome of the Duomo. Some of the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful - others much less so!! Also - amazing views from the roof terrace.

The hotel facilities advertised include a gym and "spa" (basically a steam room) - but you need to pay 20 euros for it. Also, the TV doesn't have movie channels. Also the roof terrace cannot be accessed except by a set of stairs, so this is no good for disabled people, which is a shame as the view from the top is stunning!
